Oksana Solovieva

Russian-born violinist Oksana Solovieva holds a permanent position at the Barcelona´s Opera House Liceu.

She taught at numerous conservatories such as Liceu Superior Conservatory and ESMUC in Barcelona, Zaragoza Conservatory and Forum Musikae Conservatory in Madrid. She is often invited to conduct Master classes and serves as a jury member in competitions.

In 1995 she has entered Boston Conservatory as an Honors quartet scholarship member where she studied violin with Zinaida Gilels. In 2001 she obtains Diploma Degree with Joseph Silverstein in Longy School of Music.

 

Oksana has participated in numerous international music festivals such as Tanglewood Music Center, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Pacific Music Festival, Verbier Festival among many others.

 

In 2003 Oksana has received her Masters Degree from Indiana University, Bloomington where she has studied with Nelli Shkolnikova. Right after she has relocated to Europe where she enjoys her performance and pedagogical career simultaneously.


In 2017 Oksana Solovieva obtains her Doctoral degree and currently teaches Master students in UNIR – University of Rioja.

Oksana Solovieva is a founding member and Vice President of the Spanish branch of ESTA - European String Teachers Association, where she is leading activities such as congresses and pedagogical school.
